Location and climate of Yurihama-Cho
Yurihama-Cho is located in the middle part of Tottori, and it is facing the Sea of Japan. The town was established in December 1st 2004 by merger of Hawai-Cho, Tomari-Son and Togo-Cho and also known as ‘’Hawaii of Japan’’ because it has the same pronunciation as Hawaii. It is well known that the town has two Onsen spas such as Hawai-Onsen and Togo-Onsen. Both Onsen are front Lake Togo.
The climates are comparatively clam throughout the year without natural disasters like Typhoons. And the seasonal variations provide fine weather from Spring to Autumn, and snow in Winter.
●From Kansai (Kyoto or Osaka) area
Chugokujidoushyadou Highway (CHUGOKU EXPRESSWAY) exit at Innoshou IC -> about 80 minutes drive via Route 179
●From Hiroshima
Chugokujidoushyadou Highway (CHUGOKU EXPRESSWAY) -> Yonagojidoshyadou Highway (YONAGO EXPRESSWAY) exit at Yubara IC -> about 60 minutes drive via Route 313 and 179
●From Okayama
Okayamajidoshyadou Highway (OKAYAMA EXPRESSWAY) -> Chugokujidoushyadou Highway (CHUGOKU EXPRESSWAY) -> Yonagojidoshyadou Highway (YONAGO EXPRESSWAY) exit at Yubara IC -> about 60 minutes drive via Route 313 and 179
